Rosie O’Donnell is asking her social media followers for prayers as her daughter Chelsea is facing a prison sentence and “scary future.”
The actress, comedian, and talk show host posted a photo of her 28-year-old daughter when she was a child. In the photo, Chelsea is seen wearing a pink and red striped turtleneck underneath a pink sweater with blonde hair pulled back into a ponytail.

“My child Chelsea Belle – before addiction took over her life – I loved her then, I love her now as she faces a scary future- prayers welcomed- #addiction awareness #love #family,” O’Donnell said in the caption of the photo.
According to PEOPLE, Chelsea’s probation was revoked on October 22, when she was also sentenced to prison time.
In September 2024, Chelsea was arrested and booked into the Marinette County Jail in northern Wisconsin on felony charges of maintaining a drug trafficking place, child neglect, and methamphetamine possession, as well as several misdemeanor drug charges.
Chelsea was released after posting a $2,000 bond, court records show, but she was arrested again on Oct. 11, 2024, in nearby Oconto County, facing additional felony drug and bail jumping charges.
According to PEOPLE, in November 2024, Chelsea was arrested for a third time on similar felony counts, including possession of methamphetamine, bail jumping, and possession of narcotic drugs.

Chelsea appeared in court in Wisconsin on March 31 and was sentenced to six years’ probation, but was told she could face prison time if she violated the probation requirements, PEOPLE reports.
O’Donnell adopted Chelsea with her ex-wife, Kelli Carpenter, when Chelsea was a baby. According to PEOPLE, Rosie and Chelsea had an estranged relationship over the years, with Chelsea going missing in 2015 and turning up in Wisconsin a week later with her birth mother, but they reconnected in 2018 after the birth of her first child.
Chelsea is a mom of four. Her first daughter, Skylar Rose, was born in December 2018. Daughter Riley was born in January 2021, daughter Avery Lynn was born in February 2022, and son Atlas was born in October 2023.
